Majdi, Playing with Light
In the first picture, it seems to me he was taking it with a
kind of a slow shutter speed without using tripod; however, I really like the
light reflection and the many strategies that he used in this one, such as
converging lines, curvilinear lines, frame within frame symmetrical balance,
etc. In the second picture, I don't really know what that is, but Majdi
obviously used closed fram with curvilinear lines. In the third picture, he
used blur motion that created this magic picture with beautiful lights; this
picture has also symmetrical balance, zig zag lines, converging lines, and
curvilinear lines. In his fourth picture Majdi used closed frame with
curvilinear lines; my favorite part of this picture is the light that comes
underneath the beautiful table lamp. In his fifth picture, Majdi set his
shutter with slow speed to get a bright picture in the very dark night; even
though he got a bright one, unfortunately he got also a blurred picture due to
not using tripod or putting his camera on a solid place. Anyway, overall, Majdi
has very interesting pictures; I think his pictures would be a little bit
better if he had paid more attention for each part of each picture.
Majdi, Sequence & Motion
In his first two pictures, Majdi used motion strategy; in
the first part, he took his pictures with blur motion and it has open frame,
and rule of thirds. I can also see a good balance between the sky and the land,
the building also itself has balance too. In the second part he took his
pictures at the same place but this one with stop motion. In the second two
pictures, Majdi also used motion strategy; in his first one, he set his camera
with a very slow shutter speed to get blur motion with a beautiful red and
yellow lines; in the second part, he took the picture with exactly same place
but in this time he used a higher shutter speed Simply to get stop motion; both
pictures have open frames, converging lines with symmetrical balances. In the
third two pictures, Majdi took them at the gym, he used stop and blur motion too;
I like the first one where the ball in its way to the basket and everybody is
looking at it; it's really a very good shot with a very good timing.
